    If you are a coder and into finance, you can work on some really cool stuff here. Coding jobs are essentially only in New York and London, so that limits things. But unlike most shops your code will actually be *used* by real people, most likely paying clients. Free snacks and drinks in kitchen, though no hot meals. Pay is very good. Just remember: this company's business is delivering information to financial professionals.

    Although they are likely to say lots about the exciting work place while trying to recruit you, the fact remains that 99% of the work there is maintainance of old Fortran and (if you are lucky) C code. No flexible hours allowed and in case any problems show up in your production code you will be summoned immediately, never mind its 3:00 in the Night.
