    I worked at Lawson for quite a number of years, and was well treated and the work was good. They make a ERP system just for hospitals and it does the job excpetionally well.

    The only downside I see working at Lawson is that the code base is a little tired and will not move on. It would be great if they could just have a different development shop (away from the current shop) so the system could be moved onto more modern technologies and data structures. more...

    Lawson is a good place to learn about healthcare, but other than that - it is a dead end for a developer that wants an interesting/challenging job.

    The main problem at Lawson is that their technical overlord is related to the founder of the company. Hence, The Lord's outdated ideas and lack of web development expertise get treated as Gospel by the management team. Anyone who dares question The Word Of The Lord is gone shortly afterwards.
